The Scottish Parliament Justice Committee are looking for survivors who have been affected by the current 3 year time bar that is in place for survivors of abuse bringing court action. The Limitations Bill which is presently going through Parliament proposes to remove this time limit. The committee are keen to have survivor’s views, particularly those who have been put off or refused court action because of this time bar.
Safe Space is keen to support anyone using our service, who wishes to talk to the committee , either in a small group, or individually. Please contact Ann Donnan, if you wish to pursue this.
